Hello Kitty's 50th Anniversary November 1st is Hello Kitty's birthday, but Megumi Hayashibara has announced that she will retire from being the voice of Hello Kitty on November 1st, 2023. Hayashibara has been the voice of Hello Kitty since 1990, and has been the voice of Hello Kitty for 33 years. Sanrio says that by replacing Hello Kitty's voice actor with a new person, they aim to further grow and develop Hello Kitty. The names of voice actors such as Yumiri Hanamori and Rena Ueda are being suggested as candidates for the next voice actor on the internet. Hanamori is the voice of Hello Kitty's younger sister Hello Mimmy in the 2021 anime series ``Hello Kitty and Mimmy's Wonderful Journey.'' Mr. Ueda is in charge of the voice of Hello Kitty's friend Daniel in the anime "Hello Kitty and the Mysterious Picture Book" broadcast in 2022.
